Contemplative Sculpture Garden
The Contemplative Sculpture Garden Project is a collaboration between the Church at Convergence, the Convergence Arts Initiative, local artists and our community.
The purpose of the Convergence Contemplative Sculpture Garden is to provide our neighbors with an inviting oasis of rest, play, inspiration and wonder in the midst of busy streets and busy lives.
We are currently in the process of building the sculpture garden and would like to invite you to join us. Check out our events page for more information on the next work day.
If you have questions or would like more information on the Contemplative Sculpture Garden and its place in the community and within Convergence, or would like to get involved, please contact Lisa Smith, at firstname.lastname@example.org
“We transform our gardens into sacred space when we understand them as places of growth not only for plants and trees but for our inner selves. What is “sacred” space? It is a place of dedication, where the miracles of life and growth are acknowledged as evidence of something larger than ourselves…Creating sacred space moves us beyond mere decoration in the outdoors. When we garden for the soul, we use the experiences in the garden to tend our inner landscapes and foster the growth of the spirit.” –Gardening for the Soul, Peg Streep
